Eiichiro Oda's ONE PIECE
     Eiichiro Oda the man behind the creation of One Piece. A young and talented mangaka, born on January 1, 1975 in Kumamoto. Blessed with 2 children and a beautiful wife Chiaki Inaba. At the age of 17 he submitted his work "Wanted" who then won several awards including Tezuka Award finishing second place that make him land a job at Weekly Shonen Jump and started as an assistant.

      One Piece first appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump on 1997. And became the most popular manga in Japan. Oda is influenced by Akira Toriyama the creator of Dragon Ball and Dr. Slump.

In 2008, Oricon a marketing firm conducted a research that Oda ranked 5th most favorite manga artists in Japan and shared same spot as Yoshihiro Togashi the creator of Hunter X Hunter and Yuyu Hakusho.
